Happy 1/2 B-Day and Girl's day out!

Can you believe it?! Camdyn turned 6 months last Thursday...she is 1/2 a year old! Our little celebration on Friday wasn't as fun as we would have anticipated due to her having to get her shots. She has done really good though and it has not seemed to affect her like it did when she was a lot younger... thank goodness. When we were done with her shots we went to eat dinner and then we got Camdyn some yummy oatmeal and mixed it with applesauce for a night time treat for the first time! Here were sisters stats:

27 1/2 inches long (95th percentile)

20.7 pds (ugh hugh...still off the chart)

I still can't get over that she is a little over 2 feet tall!

Dr. Heiber said that she gets a perfect score for being a healthy little girl and a social one he said! Here are some new things she is doing these days:

*Saying "momma" when she is fussy (I don't know if this is a good or bad thing for me) No she probably cannot decipher what this word means but she is still saying it!

*We are now eating food other than cereal! Camdyn has now tried applesauce, oatmeal and prunes! Next is green beans and peas

*She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything.

*Laughs out loud now at things going on around her.

*Takes bath's with nothing except for mommy in there with her and her toys!

*Smiles continuously

*Goes to bed at 8:00 and sleeps until I wake her up.

*Her most favorite thing is going out in public, sitting up in her stroller.

* Still only eats about 6 oz. per serving

*Loves "The Itsy Bitsy Spider"

The nurse always gives her one sparkly band-aide...she deserves that sparkly band-aide too!!

Barrett got Camdyn a present for her 1/2 birthday. Here she is opening it!

On Saturday Aunt Issa and Macey invited us to go to Sam Moon's to go shopping. I had decided a few days ago that we probably wouldn't be able to go because of me being afraid that Camdyn would be a little fussy from her shots. Camdyn proved me wrong and woke up in a great mood, so we headed off to Dallas for a girl's day out. When we got there they did not let us take strollers in since it was a Saturday. It wasn't much fun lugging 20 pounds around attached to my body (she was in her bjorn) but Camdyn seemed fine looking at all of the sparkly jewelry.

Today was a pretty peaceful day. We went to church, to the grocery store and came home and cooked out and we watched a little bit of the movie, Miss Spider's Bug-A-Boo Day Play that I got her yesterday. This week should be a fun-filled week at school with all of the Halloween activities. Be looking for a post after Thursday since all of the babies are coming over to the house for pictures!!!
