Friday thoughts

I love how every day feels like Friday while I'm still on maternity leave. Knowing that I will have to get back to real life and changing the world :) makes me appreciate each moment I have with my little friends....
**This angel baby got some tummy time in this morning and is such a strong boy!! To make his life easier (since he's not fond of tummy time on floor) we practice on mommas shoulder...looks like its working!

Campers... One of my new loves and of course this guy! I just ordered him some fabric with all sorts of campers to make some leggings.

Working out! I am not a runner at all. I promise that quote you see floating around that if you see me running, you better take off running too because I'm probably running from something??? Me :)
BUT I did start up p90x and I really like it! It's not near as hard as I imagined. Check out the guns... Huge I know :)

This hunk of love has wanted to eat almost every 2 1/2 hours today! Growth spurt I believe!

Ty-2 months

This baby boy has been the hugest blessing to our family! Just when you think your heart can't possibly love another child as much as it loves the other two...it happens...and it happens so deeply!
My love for him is unreal. I soak this little guy in all day long and I love each and every moment spent with him. I joke that his cheeks are going to be beat red because I kiss on them every moment I get. And that neck...oh that neck gets kissed a ton as well!

At two months:

You smile almost every time I put you on your changing table. :)

You react to our voices all the time.
I can't get over how smart you are! When anyone walks up beside you,
your head turns to their exact location. I joke that I used to be able to hide from the girls if I didn't want them to see me when they were napping but you...you'll find your momma.
You watch a whole television show and smile and kick your legs to it. It amazes me that you
are able to see it and react to it!
Your favorite shows are Baby Einstein and Mickey Mouse.

Some of your favorite things to do is lay on your boppy anywhere that momma is.
If there is noise, you are asleep instantly.
Sometimes I put you in the room with me while I fold and dry clothes and you fall fast to sleep.
One day I vacuumed and you fell asleep to the noise on the ottoman.
You LOVE your changing table! I think it's because you can look right up at momma. :)

At the end of two months you started making this certain noise and we make it back
and forth to each other. You think it's the funniest thing.

You are known around this house as the "cave man" or "growler" , you growl
all the time! It's hilarious! Anytime you move positions while you're asleep, or if I
move you, you let out a huge growl. It adds character :)

Your sisters ADORE YOU! They love to lay beside you and you stare at them all the time.
We all call you "Ty Bo" ---very fitting.
You are pretty much on the dot to eat during the day every 3 hours. You drink almost 6 ounces
each time...oh my goodness. Piggy!
You are becoming a better sleeper and are down to eating once a night.

You still sleep right beside your mommy in your "Rock n Play" and that will not
be changing anytime soon. :) Love having my little guy next to me all night.
You are still the best car rider!

You can only hold your eyes open during the day for about 1 hour 1/2...after that, you are
dying to go to sleep!! I think it's because you use your brain so much while you are awake!

You have the most beautiful blue eyes! Daddy talks about them all the time.

You also have the exact birthmark as your mommy! The same location on your neck!
Your momma thinks this is very special, especially given that your sisters don't have a
birthmark at all!

Your mom is obsessed with dressing you and picking out your clothes. Most of the
time you are in footie pajamas to stay warm and cozy but when you're not...she decks you out!

I can't wait for you to grow into these! Okay, I can wait...but you will look so cute.

To tell you the absolute truth, I seriously think I have had more fun dressing a boy than a girl!
I don't know if it was the switch between having 2 girls and then a boy or what but it is so much fun!
I also like stuff more easily that I see for him then I do the girls.
Some of my favorite things for him are baby legs, leggings with designs,
moccs, bow ties, hats, and any shoes!

Baby boy, you are loved more than you will ever know!!

More of December

I surprised Camdyn by taking her to see Frozen. This is my new favorite movie and of course hers!

My snuggle muffin!

I found these fresh wreath and door swags at Lowes and they took my breath away! :) and the price as well! 5 bucks! Please, oh please let these be available each year! I would spray them about every other day with water and they lasted for months!

My baby girl assisted me in baking cookies one day.

Dustin puts the girls to bed at night while I put Ty down. He often sends me pictures of something they have done or just if they look too darn cute! They got new Pjs and were super excited to wear them.

One of Ty's favorite things to do is watch tv on his little boppy pillow. All three have loved this pillow and its so cozy!

December

I took a ton of pictures in the great month of December and I don't want to forget any of these memories!
First up was Cam's letter to Santa. I loved how she started out saying how good she had been. :)

We had a special few days all together stuck in the house because of the ice! You can almost always find us all in the same room together!

I have had many (okay, maybe 5) days at home all day with no make-up and a sweet cuddly baby in my arms in footie pajamas! Love having days where we have no place to go!

Once again...I could write a book about her. She has the cutest little personality and has no idea that she is being so darn cute and funny!

Bed head

Sweetness fell asleep in Ty's chair with her baby. I was obsessed with baby dolls growing up (I really think it helped me be a good momma!!) and now she is too. I love it!

I have a thing for making pillows for my front porch! It's amazing how much you can do when you are at home all day! I have made so many and I love switching them out for each holiday. Grabbed me a pillowcase at Hobby Lobby, I used my silhouette machine (love that thing!) for the lettering and then some fabric paint and voila...a pretty pillow!

Music turns on and this happens..

The best big sister ever!

Here are the cousins that are always together. No matter their age differences, they all stick together in a little huddle, All. Day. Long. I love watching them play together, bicker and make up. They will always have that special bond of being cousins and I wouldn't change that for the world. We can't wait to add Ty to the mix so Tanner can have him a buddy!

Nanny always has a special sucker for them when they arrive!

When they all go to Nanny and Poppees 90% of the time we let them dress themselves and look like rag dolls. It's pretty funny to see what "get up" they all pick out!

November and Ellie arrives!

This sweet baby boy got all dressed up for our family pictures that we took on Thanksgiving. Little stud!

A few days after Thanksgiving, Ellie arrived! She brought the kids pj's, snow-covered donuts and snow candy!

Date nights are extremely important to Dustin and I. Not because we don't love being together as a family or need a "break" but just so we can be together alone with no interruptions. For the most part the kids are always behaved when we go out but I usually have one hand eating and the other hand tending to Ty and Dustin and I hardly get to have our conversations that we love to have. On date nights, we always have a good drink before, dinner and coffee after...lots of time to dream of the upcoming years and focus on our sweet family in the present. I love this guy that I get to do life with...we are so much alike and everything is so simple with him.

Camdyn had homework to do where she got to design her own gingerbread girl. I think I had as much fun with her as she did...I love getting to be creative!

I couldn't find Maddy one day, it was almost like the feeling she had vanished into thin air..I'm talking everything that was in her hand dropped to the floor and she was gone in an instant. I think I had asked her to do something :) I turned around and saw these little feet out from under Ty's curtains. Gosh that little girl does the funniest things!

Here is the best car rider I have ever had! Camdyn was a good passenger, Maddy would scream her head off when she was bitty and Ty...he just LOVES the car! The little guy falls asleep in an instant. We are going on 3 months and I get the same result every time he gets in my car. Love that guy

These 2 have a special bond. They have both been home with me from my maternity leave so they are together all the time. They will both go back to their sitter when I go back to work and I couldn't be more happier to have them together. Maddyn has a heart of gold and has not shown one sign of envy to the little man that had a doing in her having to grow up a little quicker. Whenever I talk to Ty in baby talk, Maddy is always by me watching and smiling and then I quickly do it to her too so she knows that she is still my baby too. When I got pregnant by surprise with Ty, I worried that Maddyn would have to grow up too soon. That was a big reason with me waiting 3 1/2 years between Camdyn and Maddy. God had a special plan though for these to be close in age. Thankfully I was given Maddyn's personality as the child that would be so close in age because she has been a breeze with him. Love that they will get to be special friends forever and that he has 2 big sisters that adore him!

Oh that pouty baby face!

Dustin's granny shares the same birthday with Ty...so sweet! She made him this special quilt and I can't wait to spend many Spring days outside with him on it. Ty hasn't gotten to spend much time outside due to the wind and cold. I know he's going to love it out there when it warms up!
