FUNfetti Sunday!

Today Cam and I had a FUNFETTI Sunday! I have been eyeing this

for a while now...maybe even for a few years! I have never bought it because I never really make cupcakes, I am a cookie girl! Well, let me just tell you that I found out from another blogger that there is a cookie recipe on the side and I got super excited! Camdyn and I headed out the door today to get our cookie mix and you can't forget the icing and we also stopped by our Macey's to let the girls visit before heading home for our sugar rush. :)

Time to dig in and get started!

We added everything BUT the raw eggs...Camdyn is thinking "wow, mom you are really going to let me eat raw eggs??"

Seriously?
Nope, your mom will not let you!!...just everything else but that :) When she tasted it she kept shaking her head "yes" that she approved of it!
Her favorite part was licking the yummy icing and shaking the sprinkles over and over (Note: Do you see her poor booboo on her pinky? This happened today and she was talking about it all day long... Sweet girl)
What a fitting shirt for our little miss smiley!

We then put them in the oven...you would not believe the smell of these cookies! Do you have a million candles that smell like sugar cookies like I do?? Well this smell was everywhere!
By now it was 3:00 and Camdyn had yet to take a nap. I tried to put her down for one so that when she woke up she could enjoy her cookies. Nope, she was not having it! I even put Elmo in her bed and covered him with a blanket (which she thought was very funny). I think she could smell the aroma of our cookies and had to stay awake to eat one! :)
She definitely approved and thought it was very good! I even caught her leaning over trying to reach the container of them to eat a few tonight.

So fun and colorful!
While we were shopping for our cookies we also purchased our first "bahbie". I was really never a barbie kind of girl...I was only obsessed with dolls. I wanted something I could wrap up in a blankie, put a diaper on it, feed and pretend that she was my child. Oh I'm sure my mom can remember my obsession with dolls... anyways, I thought I would buy one for Camdyn.

I love this little face when she met her. I'm sure she was thinking "her tummy is showing and she is sure wearing a skimpy bathing suit" but for the reasonable price, we got the barbie that was not wearing much clothes! ha!

Reece brushed her hair and walked around with her throughout the day and she even put her in her buggy to push her around. Unfortunately I also found Bozley playing with her and dragging the poor barbie by her hair. In return, this is what Camdyn did to Bobby!

Ha!
Our lives are now changing...Baseball season is in full swing! I am a bit worried about taking her to the games. Last year I was able to control my new little walker but this year I have a fear that the bleachers will be her favorite thing. I will manage, I will manage.
*Also, tonight I laughed when I saw that there is a movie coming out called "The Crazies"..ha! That's my word! I just realized that I have been spelling it wrong...me the teacher needs to remember the rule, drop the y and add an ies!
Have a great week!!

Party in the USA!

Yes, around here it is a Party in the USA! ha! That is one of our all time favorite songs and tonight Camdyn decided to put a dance on for you with her new dance partner! I have numerous videos of her and her uninterested partner but this one puts them all to shame! Sorry about the crazy's in the background...we weren't expecting this to be posted and we thoroughly enjoyed her performance.(as you can tell in the video) Oh the life with Camdyn Reecer!

Tomorrow is Friday!! Woo hoo!

Camdyn the little streaker :)

Gotta love the weekends! This weekend Camdyn turned 21 months! Dustin keeps wondering when she hits 2 if we can start calling her just 2 and not by the months...I think we can right? :) Cam is all of 21 months and more! She is growing, growing, and GROWING! It's so cute how they can just shock you with what they really know. Tonight she kept calling letters out from the alphabet and she pointed out B, D, A, C! The teacher in me had them all mixed up and she was able to recognize each of them in the mix of all of the others. We will have to see soon if she knows anymore!
Can I just tell you that Camdyn's birthday is not until April 23 and I am already started on the planning of this occasion! Sometimes I think maybe my side job should be a "party planner" as much as I love to do it!
On Friday after school we came home and did Camdyn's favorite outside...chalk. She loves her chalk and also loves to play inside on her chalkboard.
Daddy then drove up and she was so excited! She ran up to him and got some kisses...
She then did her usual and took off running from him!

Memory: Last night we went to Target to look for a new monitor for Camdyn's room and she was having a lot of fun! Thank goodness we went at night because she started running and her diaper fell quick to the ground around her legs!! Two employees were already talking about how funny she was and then they saw this happen! Camdyn thought it was hilarious and then proceeded to bend over with her hands to her knees and....huge bohiney in the air for everyone to see! She then started laughing and running from me (I'm sure she felt "free") We then carried her out immediately to put some cover on our naked baby. I don't think we will ever forget that night! If only you could have seen that huuugge hiney! I think she did it on purpose...

One of our nightly routines...tricks!

Before I told her we were going to church....

AFTER she found out we were going to church!

Great news! Our good friends, the Cannaday's had their 2nd baby girl named Emerson on Wednesday! She is soooo cute and looks just like her big sister! We are so happy that we will be able to have another friend to join all of our play dates!!

Lovin life!

Do you ever feel like you have reached a point in your life where everything is absolutely perfect? I love that feeling. There are many times that I feel like that and I want to hold onto that moment forever...knowing that God gives us some bumps in the road that we will have to overcome. I have always tried to be an optimistic person knowing that life could be a lot harder for me than the circumstance that I am in at that time. I think that is one reason that I have always tried to begin to stop and enjoy every bit that life has to offer. Being a mother has definitely changed me and I feel everyone. You re-prioritise what is important in life. I try to take full advantage with every waking hour that I have with Camdyn. She is in such a precious stage of life where she is trying to figure out where she fits in! I have many pictures to share of this little girl who is known around our house as "our Christmas"...I seriously feel like a kid on Christmas morning when I wake her sweet body up each morning or when I pick her up after school. That feeling has never been absent and I know it will never go away. I am a little obsessed or should I say completely obsessed with my child!

Camdyn Reece has been growing up so much lately. Each day we hear her speak a new word or our conversations get more in depth! I LOVE when she has a conversation back with me and it is in Camdynish. It is like a little alien speaking to me and then we ask her what she said and she will ramble on the EXACT way that she did before. She says words clear until she wants to tell you a lot at once...ha!

This weather is exciting me...could be because we froze our little tooshies off for a long time and now anything is better than that! Camdyn took advantage of this nice weather last week.

These two pretty little girls got together one Friday night while Melissa and I enjoyed some Thai take-out! They are so cute together! They bounced around and danced and then settled down to some good ole Sesame street. Cam is playing with Macey's little fountain on her head!

Hallelujah! We can now swing outside!
She looks so old here

Taking some time to read her books

All dressed up for her favorite place...church!

These little guys are her FAVORITE toys! She carries them with her all the time and lines them up in order everywhere. This might also be because Sesame Street is literally the only show that she will watch. She says no to everything else. She is also starting to show interest now in Barney :) Her Aunt Taylor was in love with that purple guy when she was little!

"Bi bird" is the runner up against Elmo being her fave. She is kissing his little yellow head.

Camdyn has shown a lot of interest on her own with letters lately. When she sings her Abc's they are pretty funny to listen to. She almost seems like she is straining to get each letter out and it's hilarious. She is telling me where her favorite letter is that she can spot easily. :)

Piece of heaven
Last night before bed Camdyn cut her finger pretty bad and she was little disturbed by the blood...made me so sad. She then was a little hesitant to get into her bed to sleep so when I came back in there she told me that she wanted Elmo. I was then thinking that maybe she was talking about her Elmo book??? Nope...then I thought that hopefully she was not talking about the Elmo Alive that stands about 14 inches high and is as hard as a rock that requires batteries...

Yes it was her dearly beloved Elmo that she wanted! She wrapped her arms around him and was asleep within a minute. Sweet girl just needed some Elmo comfort!

While we are on the subject of Elmo, Melissa and I got tickets for the girls to go see him and the rest of his friends live! We are super excited for them!

Way off the subject but there is a new wine out called "The Middle Sister"!!! Yes, that would be me! I am indeed a middle sister! I was very excited to find that it was named after us AND there was at least 6 different "middle sisters" that you could purchase. So I wanted to purchase the one that was more like myself. Oh this was fun! So these were my choices....Rebel red? Nope, definitely not a rebel; Wicked white? No thank you!, Forever cool? The picture had a girl holding up a peace sign, not me; Smarty pants? I would like to think of myself as smart (ha!) but the girl had pink hair; Mischief maker? Everyone that grew up with me knows that I was never into mischief; Drama queen? I am not a drama queen but the description was pretty cute....

The part about wearing the giant sunglasses drew me in and her cute little dress, so I picked her! What could I do with it now?? ....I made a lamp out of it!!

Isn't it cute?! I love it :)
Phew that was a long post! I haven't posted in a while and I was in the mood. Have a fabulous rest of the week!
By the way, if you haven't seen Avatar PLEASE go see it in 3d at the theater! The best movie I have ever seen! It is so enchanting but a lot of action too. I had no idea that it would be that entertaining. LOVED IT!

Yay Cowboys!

Instead of Gooo Cowboys we heard "yayyyyy" all throughout our house last night! We decided (Dustin decided for us) that we were going to stay home and watch the Cowboys play since it was a big game. Camdyn put on her Romo jersey ...that we thought for a while we were going to have to blur out the back... but thank goodness, he redeemed himself! We had a pizza delivered and Dustin got Camdyn pumped up and I mean PUMPED UP for the game. We have the pictures to prove her enthusiasm for her team. I love how calm she starts out and then how she ends. :) Oh our little DCC girl!

Before the game...

Game face...

Oh that apple bottom!
And the cheering came...

Did you notice anything new on our blog???? After Camdyn went to bed I was SUPPOSED to watch the game but instead I had another prior commitment...my blog. I have been wanting a change for months but didn't want to spend the money so I got the courage to do it myself. Oh was that a job...I still am not completely finished with it. :(
I wish I had some pictures from Friday night because all of us girls went out to dinner for my friend Amanda's baby sprinkle without the babes or the big babes and we had soooo much fun! We arrived at 6 and did not leave until um....9:50. We thoroughly enjoyed laughing and talking about anything and everything. You girls are so much fun!
We had a great weekend minus all of our pipes freezing! We thought when we built a new house that your pipes would not freeze but we were wrong. They all started coming on by the time it was time to get cleaned up for bed so we were okay. Oh the things you take for granted.
Talk to you soon!
