All the talk about what Camdyn got but I have forgotten to mention how good Santa/Dustin was to me this year! We had agreements that we would only spend a certain amount on one another for our stocking since we had already purchased our camera, however, my husband does not usually hold to his amount like he is supposed to! He got me so many great things to pamper myself and the coolest flip video camera that is the size of a cell phone. It is PERFECT for taking short videos of Cam so I don't have to carry the big one everywhere. I'm sure everyone will be seeing many more videos of missy since pictures do not show her developing into such a big girl!
The first video is of Camdyn standing for a few seconds and also standing up on her own without pulling up on anything. I would have never thought that my 8 month old would be able to do this...I think she is going to be a little muscle thing like her daddy :) This video is a little long but it's funny to see all of the things she is getting into and how Bozley just sits in his bed and ignores her. He is not very fond of her these days. Dustin also jokes that Camdyn would never be able to sneak up on anyone...those hands are so loud when she crawls!
The 2nd video...yes, there are 3! Is of Camdyn with her empty baby buggy that Santa brought her...once again, I'm so amazed that those chunky little legs are figuring out how to push and walk at the same time. She even looks like she is trying to maneuver her buggy! Camdyn reminds us of a little old lady pushing a buggy. I love how she turns around and does a big grin for me at the end.
Last is Camdyn swinging at the park the other day. She got a big kick out of it since this is her first time to be in a swing besides the one at gymnastics a couple of months ago. She got so much excitement when she would come close to us after we would push her.

Camdyn's First Christmas!
One word...Wow! This was definitely the best Christmas that we have had! It was so enjoyable having Camdyn with us and it's so crazy to think that a year ago she was there but not really there :) I know next year will be just as good because she might have a better idea of what Christmas really is. She got so many great things and she enjoyed spending time with her family. It was so funny to see how uninterested she was in her new toys...she would play with the tag on the toy more than the toy itself. I got so many great pictures of her. If you are wondering why the pictures are always taken outside...that's because that's the only way I can get her to sit still! She is still very unsure of grass.
The first group of pictures are of Christmas Eve. That is usually our big celebration at my aunt and uncles.
I brought out Camdyn's new moose/reindeer from Mrs. Sherry...thanks Sherry, Camdyn loves it!

Camdyn and her first baby buggy! We had to put her moose in there because it's not right to push an empty baby buggy is it?! To our surprise, her other great Granny gave her a baby doll that night specifically for her buggy!
We were so blessed to have been able to spend these special days with our family and our beautiful daughter. I can't wait to teach Camdyn what Christmas is truly about. God has blessed us in so many ways and I could not imagine our life getting much better than this.

PJ Christmas Party!
Post number 2: Amanda and Ella had us over for a PJ Christmas party! All of the babies are within months apart so it was such a great time to see them all playing together. The last time they were all together was for Halloween and this time they were definitely more independent. Camdyn had such a great time and it seemed like all of the babies did as well! Thanks Amanda and Ella for having us over! Check out the pictures that were taken...some of them are pretty funny.
Here is Camdyn a few minutes before leaving to head out to see her friends. I was showing her the book and reindeer food that she was giving to her friends! Sorry aunt Issa for taking Macey's reindeer food off of her present!
Now this is pretty funny and I had to post it for Amanda to see! This is when Ella realized that there were other babies in her house and she pounced on Camdyn's back! Hilarious!
Notice the block between Camdyn's legs...She was being very modest at first and then you will gradually see that she becomes less modest :) Aren't they all adorable?!

8 months!
I just put missy down for her nap so now it is time to play blog catch up! I have been lacking on the postings and I have to make sure I get everything down so I won't forget! I'm sure by tomorrow, I will have at least 3 new posts...
Camdyn Reece turned 8 months on the 23rd....Oh how that time has flown by. The first 3 months were definitely life-changing and after that, our world has been very familiar and comfortable with this baby girl! I wanted to jot down some things that have changed in Camdyn world :)
*We will get her stats when she goes to her 9 month check-up.
*Camdyn is now able to stand (when she is not in her cautious mode) with out holding onto or pulling up onto anything! The other day Dustin was putting a new toy of hers together and he looked over beside him and she was standing! She does this about once or twice a day now.
*She also will now let go when she does pull up and will stand for a pretty long time!
*She now knows how to clap and Gran taught her how to give a high five! Gran puts her hand out and Camdyn puts her hand up to it.
*We still have no teeth!!
*She absolutely loves it when Dustin sings her song to her...he can usually get her to sleep faster than me :(
*Every time Camdyn sees an animal or a kid/baby, she will squeal and babble to them.
*We are now hearing 'd' sounds alllll day long. The precious thing is that her raspy voice is high pitch when she talks.
*When Cam wants her boboo, she will blow raspberries continuously!
*Are you ready for the biggest accomplishment!!! Camdyn is sleeping in her own room now! I didn't think I would ever come to terms with her not sleeping in her bed beside me but I have. She is becoming very aware of things going on around her so we figured we might better now than later.
*Her favorite toy is her Leap Frog table
*She has learned how to use her 'push baby buggy' from Santa
*Her favorite food is Sweet potatoes and corn and can't forget her puffs!
*She has a full head of hair now since it all came out after she was born.
*She HATES her bows and anything that touches her head.

I could make a thousand dollars+!!!
Off of this baby girl that I captured in action on video! She thinks Bozley is the most funniest creature around and the only things he has to do is scratch at his plate, jump in the air and play with his toys. This was going on for about 5 minutes straight while Dustin, Taylor and I were in awe of this precious baby! I finally got the video after Dustin reminded me that I should and we got her laugh for everyone to hear. That has to be one of the most beautiful noises ever! Have I mentioned yet how amazing she is ;)
I have been a little late on the posting this week...I have been making crafts/goodies I believe every night this week for my kids at school while Taylor watches me. It was funny, she was asking me tonight..."Do other teachers really make this much stuff for their kids" ?? I LOVE the holidays and I go a little overboard when it comes around...Here are some pictures of Camdyn when we did a little shopping this weekend at Target and then the next few are of her at the Collard Christmas get-together. Tomorrow is Friday and our family will be together for 2 weeks straight and then baseball season begins for Dustin...Have a wonderful weekend, looks like we can put our scarves away for a few days!
