Easter Celebration

Happy Friday night! As I type, I am waiting on my husband to get home from his last baseball game of the season and then we have him all to ourselves! Yesterday night we had a sneak peak at what it's going to be like to have him with us more often :) and we enjoyed ourselves from dinner on a patio, snow cones and playing at the park past C's bedtime! Yep, it was dark when we left our park...

So let's get down to Easter! I skipped right over Camdyn's 3rd birthday because that posting needs extra effort for such a special day! Camdyn's birthday fell the day before Easter Sunday. That made for a super busy weekend for us. I still made sure that we snuck in some of our ritual Easter festivities though. The night before we colored eggs and Camdyn is the most cleanest "egg dyer" ever. She had just got a pretty little manicure so I think she was making sure to keep her nails pretty. :) I also let her open her most favorite gift...Tangled. That girl LOVES that movie and would watch it over and over if I would let her.

Keep your eyes closed...

LOVE the joy on her face

The following morning we went to Dallas to my Aunt and Uncles house. What a beautiful Easter house it is! The decor was perfect for some Easter pictures. Camdyn and Macey enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and a big lunch with their family. As we were taking pictures of the girls, Camdyn decided to plant one on Macey. :)

Every Easter Denise gets one of these precious cakes. They are delicious!

The week before Easter, Camdyn had her Easter egg hunt at school. We were told that we "could" decorate her egg carton for the hunt. Don't give me the option to do it because then I will!! She loved the way that it turned out. I helped...just a bit :)

Camdyn didn't know that the whole time she was helping me, she had a "w" in her hair. I kept asking her if "w" was her favorite letter and she kept wondering why I was asking her that. She laughed when she saw herself in the mirror.

I hope to get her birthday posting finished soon! Check back!

19 weeks!

We are thrilled to announce (on our blog..AKA Baby book!) that we are having another baby GIRL!!! That means that Miss Camdyn will have a sister! We are thrilled about this and so is my bank account! ha! Let's just say that we are not lacking in the clothing department. :) I did not get rid of one single thing (it's obvious when I just looked back at some of Cam's stuff and saw that I even saved a few things with milk stains on it!) I knew that there might come a day when we had another little girl that would need these sweet clothes/accessories and play items again. Meet our sweet baby girl! From the words of the sonographer---"She looks glorious". Love the word GLORIOUS and that she is! During our 18 week sonogram as Dustin and I were finding out what our baby was, she was bouncing around exactly like Camdyn was when I was pregnant with her. My babies never sit still while they are in my stomach. We were also laughing because the sonographer told us to check out her bicep...it was bulging out (takes after her daddy!) She would flip around, shake her head no, squat down like she was trying to stand and scratch her little head. The whole process of a baby is an absolute miracle. I could stare at those sonograms all day long.

How am I feeling? Pretty much perfect! With Camdyn I got sick every single morning over and over for about 3 months straight. With this missy, I was sick for maybe 2 or 3 weeks straight and then I have been great ever since. I hate to speak too soon but I feel that it's safe to say that I paid my "dues" with Camdyn! ha! I needed an easy pregnancy. Tiredness happened at the beginning but I am back to my normal routine of going, going and going.

This little one needs all my attention right now and I am determined to give her her mommy time as often as needed. However, she will curl up with me sometimes after school and watch a show beside me while I fall asleep. Love her...

I am starting to feel her move more and more each day. That will always be one of my most favorite parts of pregnancy...knowing that they are getting larger and thriving.

She is now the size of a mango---

At our last sonogram (18 weeks) she was already at 10 oz. so her weight is a bit larger than the norm. (Taking after sissy!)

We are loving our baby girls and we cannot be anymore blessed with the great things that are happening in our family!

Spring Break and a lot of goodness!

Well what a great Spring Break we had and it flew right by---as they all do! Since Camdyn has been born, we have always made it a little tradition to enjoy a day and night at the Gaylord. It's always such an easy place to go and so so clean for children (and people like myself! ha!). We started out having lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and that was heaven for her. There is always about an hour 1/2 wait so I went shopping for some really cute Summery stuff that would accommodate this growing belly! I refuse to not have cute clothes for the Summer! :) I have found a lot of trendy things that I can wear now and after we have this sweet baby.

A balloon artist came by and made Camdyn an elephant. She was in love.

**I warned you that the i-phone camera was taking over!

We then headed over to the Disney store since Camdyn is loving Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

We left with Minnie and Daisy--that's a good pair if I must say!

As I shopped (some more) Dustin took Camdyn into the candy shop and they bought some candy. I tell you what...if you want a Daddy who will spoil you rotten---he is the "go to" daddy! You can guarantee that if those two are left alone, she will be back with something either in her hand or in her tummy!

After shopping we went back to the hotel and walked around and had a light dinner. I did not eat very lightly :) but they both did. Camdyn's balloon from the Rainforest lasted maybe 10 minutes so she happened to find another balloon man at the Gaylord and he whipped her up a butterfly.

AND one wing popped in a record of 5 minutes! Poor thing just couldn't figure out why it kept popping! I kept telling her it was just as pretty with one wing and she refused to keep it any longer and walked over to the trash and threw it away. (Note: We are having a balloon artist at her party so we are hoping for better luck!)
(Dance time)

That morning we finished our Spring Break Get-away with an IHOP breakfast---IHOP never lets you down!
Now for some more goodness! These are pictures taken probably about a month ago or less that I needed to add.

When you need a good craft...get a toilet paper roll....decorate it.....

and you have you a magic "spy glass"!

I see Detective Camdyn!! Here is a recent picture of the two of us before a family date night! We love these date nights where we can all enjoy one another.
I need to do a big update on our baby ***** (I'll tell you very soon what it is!!)

That baby is just a growing!!!
