Pinkalicious!

What fun we had this past Saturday! I got Camdyn and I tickets to the
Dallas Children's Theater and we had the perfect day!
One of Cam's favorite books since she was little was Pinkalicious. She would
have me read this book to her over and over. When we found out they
had made a play out of it...we were sold! This theater is perfect for kids
because no matter where you sit, you are very close to the stage and it has that
"small room" feel about it.
EVERY, EVERY little girl there was dressed from head
to toe in PiNk and it was so cute to see them all!

Let the posing begin! :)

They had little set-ups from the book and she got to become the main character! :)

"PinkerCamdyn"!!

During intermission they had pink cupcakes from Sprinkles! Yes, perfect treat
for (her and I) during intermission! The was one happy girl.

As always with their cupcakes and their tiny decor, there was a little crown in the middle!

On the sides of the stage--

When you walk in these were hanging all throughout the ceiling---so fun!

We had a fabulous time and we can't wait to come back to this little theater!

Her room

Within the last year, Camdyn's room has been a favorite
of hers when she is at home. She will sometimes shut the door of her room
or playroom and play for hours using that imagination of hers. I have never
seen a child be able to have a conversation with herself (dolls) :) for that amount
of time. Her imagination and play amazes me.
After her and I had been at church one morning she hurried home
to play with her Barbies on her bed. We had gone to Target and she decided to pick out a Brave doll that she was lacking in her plethora of dolls. As I was turning the corner of her
bedroom, I saw her playing and it was just precious.
I love being the one standing back and getting to watch her play. I know that soon
she will be interested in other things--bigger and better things,  so I soak in as much as I can of her!
Maddy is usually tucked away in a favorite spot watching her big sister
play or playing right along with her. :)

She caught momma and her big black camera snapping pictures of her!

One of my favorite parts of her room is the little quote next to her sweet head where she sleeps at night.

Her "shy" face as I joined in to play with her :)

I love the innocence of this child and my love grows for her more and more each day.

Picnic at the park

There's nothing like packing up an over-sized quilt, a backpack filled with wet wipes to
clean little hands, 2 Subway sacks filled with 2 little girl's lunches/and mommas
and then dragging 2 baby girls out of the car and up to "our spot". I promise
it's ours :)
Since Camdyn was a baby, we have ventured up into this little
spot that over looks some beautiful trees in our neighborhood.
We haven't been back here in a few months so we thought we
would have a picnic and let the girls run wild.

Maddyn makes our picnics even more special that she is here with us.
She gobbles up her turkey sandwich and then looks to
see what else she can snack on from our lunches :) I love
my little piggy.

So calm and peaceful.
My other big girl loves to pick her momma some flowers.
As I was snapping this picture she was telling me "Momma, I'm picking
you one of these flowers." And then I make sure to act as if
this flower she picked was the most beautiful flower I have ever seen. :) :)

PERFECT: That little flower tucked into her sweet chubby fingers with
 "Mommy" on her dress!
The girls ran and chased one another while Maddyn looked over
at me smiling from ear to ear.
I adore these two and thank the lord that he wakes me up to see them
every day!

Backyard Ballerina

Our 2nd year of dance and we are still going strong! It is a super organized program and very disciplined (which I love for her!) so I think she sometimes feels like she is at school :)
but she enjoys her teachers, the moves they learn and her friends so dance is something
she enjoys!
Parents are not allowed to stay and watch so I only get to see what she's learning at her recitals and
at home so I got some snapshots of Camdyn doing her "moves" in the backyard. :) She is one
cute little ballerina!

(Her words on this picture: "Mommy, this is first position where you open and close your window"...Love it)

Lately in our life!

I love capturing the girls and small moments we enjoy around our house.
The girls will play at least for an HOUR in the playroom together. Sometimes they
play together and other times I will keep checking on Maddy and find her sitting
at the table while enjoying a good book. :) She is so independent and can play by herself
for such a long time. I'm hoping her imagination will be as creative as her big sister's!

Last weekend we headed to get our Fall decor for the outside of our house. I need to get some pictures up soon of them. I love how the flowers are still so vibrant, while mixing all of the Fall decorations. So pretty~
The Mr. loading our pumpkins. :)

When you are pregnant, you just don't wonder how hard it will be for your
child to write their name when they are older...(or at least I didn't exactly think that far ahead!)
and when Camdyn began to show interest at the age of 3, we had her writing Cam instead of
Camdyn (Much easier!). At her new school, they have her writing her name on every single item
and I love that encouragement for her. I took a picture because I was so proud of how she
had written her name! Poor Maddyn will have just as many difficult letters as Camdyn!

There was a surprise party for Mrs. Tracy last Sunday and Camdyn had a blast
celebrating the birthday of one of her favorite people. Boy does our Mrs. Tracy go
above and beyond taking care of these angels. They both adore her.

Between Camdyn's old clothes and Maddyn's new Halloween clothes, we have a lot
of Halloween outfits to go through before October 31st! Here sweetness is all
decked out in some spooky clothing.

Maddyn absolutely LOVES wearing shoes. Every time we head outside to her favorite "get away" (the backyard) , I tell her that we are about to go outside and we need to put on her shoes. The word "shoes" is a delightful word to her ears and she perks right up, smiles, sits down on her little booty and sticks both of her feet out while waiting patiently for her shoes to be put on. What's great is watching Camdyn try to put them on while Maddyn waits for her to get them on. Camdyn hasn't mastered putting Maddy's shoes on just yet. :)
Much too bright of a flash in the A.M so you get a sweet smile and giggle. :) :)
I decided this year that I was going to wake up about 15 minutes earlier for school so I didn't feel too rushed with the girls and myself. I have stuck to it and I love being able to enjoy a little more time with them before they head off to their "play date" as I like to call it :) while I head off to do what I love to do and bring home some money at the end of the month--ha! The girls enjoyed a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin together and were just so sweet
together that I got some pictures.
Ms. Maddyn eats literally anything you stick on her tray. Seriously...anything! She is my amazing eater and it makes feeding her dinner so much fun! I sometimes make the girls smoothies when we get home from school because it holds them off until dinnertime and who doesn't love a good smoothie! Camdyn loves them and Maddy devours them! I also add a table spoon of coconut oil for an added boost of healthiness. yum!

The other day at school our class held an "Adjective Fashion Show" --oh my goodness it was so much fun! If only I could show you what they looked like! They were all decked out and we had some high fashion music going and some strutting down our runway! Camdyn was so cute at school telling her director that her mommy was doing a fashion show today.

And here is my doll baby waiting for her momma to put on her shoes!

I'm headed off of here to finish getting Camdyn dressed before Maddy wakes up from her nap. We are picking up Subway and running to the park for a picnic on this beautiful Sunday!

State Fair!

We took the girls to the State fair this last weekend for the first time.
Maddyn looked around and ate a little bit of cotton candy but Camdyn highly enjoyed
every moment! That girl loves her some animals, rides and good food SO the Fair
is the right place for her! :)
Our first stop at the fair were to see all of the UNUSUAL animals and Cam fed most of them.

Maddy was the cutest with the giraffe. She would whip her neck around to see what in the world this guy was! What a beautiful face she has!

She is like Mommy...she savored every bit of her animal food to make sure that she had enough to feed all of them. By the time we were done walking around, she had more than half a cup left :)

And Maddy...she was grossed out by their fur. Barbie's hair-- animals hair...she always has a disgusted look on her face when she touches it. However, she doesn't mind Bozleys.

LOVE this little fella!

Towards the end Maddyn laid like this in her stroller the entire time---just a relaxing!

Well of course we got us a Fletcher's corny dog! Oh man, this is exactly what I came for!

Our family rode on the Ferris wheel together---so much fun.

And Camdyn was excited to get to ride 5 rides!

Our next adventure for some more rides will be at our church Fall carnival coming up in a few weeks and they put on just as good of a fair as this one!  I love everything about October!
