Go Cowboys!!

I will first start out by saying we had such a great night last night with friends! It was such an enjoyable time and we always have fun when we are with Christy and Brandon! We went to eat with them and another couple at Steve Fields Steakhouse and Lobster and it was wonderful! Lobster is one of my favorite things to eat! On the way home though I felt bad because Dustin said that the tank of lobster that we saw when we walked in was one lobster short thanks to me :( Poor little lobster...

Here is a funny picture I got of Camdyn when we went for a walk before we went out on Saturday night. It was really sunny so I decided to put her sun hat on. It is a little too small and it didn't do much help keeping the sun out of her eyes. It looked pretty funny on her as well.

Today we went to mom and dads and enjoyed dinner and Camdyn and I showed our support for Romo! I bought her an outfit and added some bling to it to make it cuter! I know they didn't win but Camdyn still won on the football pot and she got 50.00!! WAY TO GO CAM!

Front of our shirts...

And the back...

Camdyn and Aunt Issa!

Dustin got Camdyn this play cell phone since she always wants to play with mommy's!

Anybody there? Hi Aunt Taylor...I miss you!!

Greatness!

Here are a few pictures that I have taken throughout the week that are captured memories!

The first one is one of my favorites! Camdyn loves sleeping with her "bun bun" and it always helps her to fall asleep now that she is not being swaddled anymore. She doesn't know this but her bunny comes out of her bed a few minutes after it enters her arms. :)

This next picture is her first morning in pj's!! After the retirement of the swaddle, we kept a thin small blanket over her while she slept. I decided that it was time for pajamas so we put some on her last night. We tried this a while back and she wasn't too fond of them but now she is!

Yesterday at school Mrs. Sherry brought Camdyn and Barrett up to the school while she did a surprise baby shower. It was my conference so Camdyn came and stayed in the room with me. She helped me make copies, talked with the teachers and played in her stroller. She wanted to show you how she likes to try to crawl out of her stroller!!

The last pictures are of Cam trying to crawl...her best bud then decides that he wanted to be in the pictures as usual!

Trying to be a big girl and crawl...

She then found her brother and decided to have a staring contest

Wow...little too close! Needless to say, I intervened very quickly! That's why the picture is a little fuzzy!

Camdyn won the staring contest!

This has been a fast and eventful week. We are so glad that it is the weekend now! Tonight we are enjoying a night out with some friends and Gran is keeping Camdyn tonight. Have a super weekend!

5 months

Camdyn Reece is 5 months today...I can't believe it!

Today we had her urologist appointment and she was all smiles until the doctor walked into the room. Thankfully she does not have to go to these appointments that often, however, she does not see this strange looking guy very much either. She has definitely started to notice who is a stranger and who is not a stranger. When she first saw him today (she hasn't since she was two months) she looked at Dustin and I and started to cry. I felt so sorry for her! There is something different about those scared cries. She stopped and was very calm but stand-offish towards him the rest of the exam. He is such a nice guy but it also might have been because he now has a red beard (no happy pictures with Santa this year!!). Anyways, we managed to get some pictures before her appointment and after at dinner. Since she is 5 months, I will give you some Camdyn updates!

*She is trying so so so hard to crawl. She is now able to get on all 4's and rock back and forth.

*Grabs everything in sight now. It's very hard to take her shopping because she wants to touch and feel everything.

*Screams in delight and laughs out loud more often now (see video below)

*Loves to be read to and to turn the pages

*Is sleeping through the night and I still have to wake her up in the mornings!

*Has so much personality and smiles at everyone who walks into the room (except the urologist)

*Grabs her toes and nibbles on them

*Still eating cereal once a day and enjoying it

*Cam is sitting up in her stroller all the time...no more laying back for this baby!

*Sitting up on the ground more often without assistance

*LOVES LOVES LOVES when you sing to her such as "Patty Cake" "Row Row Row Your Boat" "You are my Sunshine" (Miss Sherry's song to her before nap) and definitely the song that I sing to her every night that I sang to her when I was pregnant with her.

*She has pretty much grown out of her bumbo chair :(

*She is VERY observant of everything around her and when people talk

Okay...that's about all I can think of at this moment. Enjoy the pictures and the video!

Check out the pretty shoes and legs too!

Waiting for her name to be called...

Enjoying her passy while mommy and daddy eat

Beautiful girl

This is our new game at home! Camdyn has started to enjoy her reflection and she squeals every time she sees it...I would squeal too if I were that cute!!! I always tell her that she is looking at her new friend. Excuse the film producer, he wasn't sure of what to film. :)

Scrapbook memories...

I started getting everything together last night after Camdyn went to bed for her scrapbook. I was talking to Dustin about how many memories come back to you when you are actually getting this all put together into one book. Some of it made me so sad to see the beginning of what great things were to come. I pretty much have saved everything and taken many pictures throughout the process of me being pregnant. I wanted to share with you a few things that I came upon that were very special!
This is the day that I found out I was pregnant! I was home alone at the time and I was running around screaming (excitedly) and taking numerous tests...here was one of them :)
This was a picture of our little acrobat at around 4 months in my tummy! It will always be one of my most favorite sonograms of her. Can you believe how tiny she actually was?!! Her little legs were so skinny at that time...not so much anymore!!
Now this sonogram shows our Cam ham at her best ;) This was about a month before she arrived. The lady doing the sonogram kept talking about how many rolls that Camdyn had. Anyone who knows me back from when I was younger has always known how much I wanted my baby to have rolls. God definitely blessed me in that area! I love the note that the nurse typed in "fat roll on wrist".
Here is the first picture that Dustin took of her after my cesarean. This makes me so sad when I see this picture (happy sad). I was unable to see her for about 2 hours after she was born so he was running over there and taking pictures of her and coming back to show me. I kept thinking to myself..."wow, my baby has a lot of curly hair". That was the last time I saw that curly hair!
Baby girl all bundled up in the nursery
Here are some pictures of Camdyn's room. I LOVE her room! This was my 9 month project and I sure loved every bit of it. It's a little hard to get the whole idea of the room but it shows the majority of what it looks like. The mural painted on the wall took a pretty long time for me to paint (just kidding, I did not paint that!) We actually paid an artist that designs the art work for Ooh Baby in Allen and she did such a great job.

Dustin's dad and Grandpa made this for Camdyn. I had seen it in Pottery Barn Kids and thought that they could probably make it and they did such an awesome job on this. It was even better then the one in the catalog.

That is all for now. I will try and post some of her scrap book whenever it gets finished.

A day at the park

Today the whole family went down to this great park that is in our neighborhood that was recently built last year. It connects to our golf course and is so pretty. Last year I couldn't wait to be able to take our children down there and now we are able to! It was such a pretty day and I got some pretty pictures of miss Camdyn. As you can see from the pictures, she had such a great time. I think her most favorite part though was the travel down there with Dustin pushing her and me and the boz walking in front of her. She is such a happy baby!

On the way to the park:

"Gosh this is so much fun!" says Camdyn!

If you click on this collage, the pictures come up larger :)

Homecoming Nominee...Camdyn Reece!

Okay, so Camdyn was not a homecoming nominee this year but she sure dang should have been!! She looked like a living doll! It was between two outfits that I couldn't decide on and this one turned out to be my favorite. Her actual homecoming outfit didn't come in on time so I had to scrounge up out of her huge wardrobe in her closet and this is what I came up with. The other outfit had a skull and cross bones with ruffles on the butt (since we are the pirates) so I just incorporated the skulls on the middle of her bow.
Her original homecoming outfit with out all of the accessories :)

She also had the time of her life! I thought after being gone from home all day that she might get sleepy early but she was fighting to stay awake until 9:00 when she is usually getting drowsy around 7:30. The whole night she sat up in the front of her stroller on the track with me and stared at my cheerleaders and laughed in delight when the band would play. The photographer there got many great pictures of her that I will share later when they come in. She was such a little cheerleader herself and I can't wait to bring her to the game again all dressed up on Halloween!
Before the big night!

After we told her how pretty she was!

Bye Bye Swaddle and Swing!

Yes!! Camdyn has officially slept 3 nights without having to be swaddled and put away in her swing before bedtime! This is a big step in the Toth household. No more hurrying and changing out batteries before she awakes and predicting our future having to figure out how to swaddle a 3 year old!! Ha! Hopefully we would have broken this habit before she was 3 but you never know! I am going to miss seeing my little tootsie roll being rolled into her miracle blanket every night but it is for the better. Sherry has also been super with helping Camdyn with doing the same during the day with her naps. Camdyn has done pretty good with out her 2 faves for nap time as well. Below are 2 pictures from the proud babysitter for getting her to sleep without the goods!

This is how I wish she would stay asleep...

But she always manages to roll over! Gosh those thighs are amazing!

A relaxing weekend

As many of you probably experienced, we had a much windy and rainy day on Saturday thanks to Hurricane Ike! I was just waiting on the witch from Wizard of Oz to fly by on her broomstick! At first we thought that the weather man was a little off on his forecast and then it all came in at once. We actually decided to have a family day and we stayed in and enjoyed each other. Dustin, Cam and I took a long needed nap (after our not so regular Friday night when I was at a football game with the cheerleaders till midnight). It was really a relaxing day. We thought that we might get out after being cooped up in the house all day and run to Target to look for some furniture for our new deck. By the time we got ourselves dressed and miss priss, we decided we might just stay at home. :) Anyways we had a great weekend and we had our usual dinner with the family at mom and dad's house on Sunday. Weekends are super! 3 more days..... Happy Wednesday!

On a side note from Sunday, I had to put this on here for Camdyn to see when she is older. We always joke about how Cam Ham wishes she could eat "big girl food". Well when I was finished picking at my hamburger at mom and dad's house on Sunday, Camdyn reached over to my plate and grabbed a huge handful of hamburger meat!! She probably would have stuck it directly into her mouth if I wouldn't have caught it before then! Oh my!!

Even though it was a lazy day, I still managed to get some pretty pictures of Camdyn Reecer!

Scripture

We went to church today and by the way...Camdyn was perfect! We had to sit in the hospitality center because when we walked into the main part of church it was really loud and she puckered that bottom lip out and almost started to cry until Momma and Daddy saved the day and hurried out of there! While we were listening to the message about how important prayer is within your family I came upon a verse that I loved. This was what it said:

~For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst. Matthew 18:20

This scripure reminded me so much of our wonderful family. For almost 4 years it was the two of us and now we have created another member to care and provide for. Dustin and I are looking so forward to raising our beautiful daughter knowing and trusting God as my family has done with me and Dustin's parents have done with him. I believe so much in living a christian life and I truly believe that God is the reason I am the person I am today and the reason that I have so many things to be thankful for. I cannot wait to see what he has in store in our lives and all of the wonderful plans that he has for our family.

Fun at the sitters

The other day I opened my e-mail and Sherry had sent a picture of the babies after their stroll in their new stroller. I adore this picture! It made our day! She said that they were both great and she took them around the block. Ms. Sherry also got a few more pictures through out the day of Cam playing. That Barrett is a living doll and I know that they will always be best buds!

Sherry also got them a shirt for Halloween that says "I love my mummy"....when I went to pick Camdyn up she was asleep with her mummy shirt on, cute cute cute!
