Teacher-style!

So..I have this job where I teach 2nd graders everyday :)  but with this age level, you can so dress fun and comfy at the same time! With this age group, they are extremely high functioning (and innocent) ---my kind of kids, so there is no reason why you can't throw on a pair of heels (wedges are much more comfier) for the day! I am in no way a fashion-ista BUT I thought I would show some random outfits from over the past few weeks! I love to see what combinations others come up with so I thought I would give some examples too. Excuse the picture quality...I have no idea how to take a "selfie" and I feel a bit awkward doing it...hence the 2 children in 2 pictures.
Piko's!---Oh my! So soft and they cover up your booty if you wear skinny pants. I can't stand to have any of my bottom showing if I have skinny pants on...anyone else with me here?!
This day I went more dressy but these shoes are amazingly comfortable. Old navy shirt paired with a Ross skirt from years ago. Pretty sure I paid $5 bucks for it!
I loved this dress from Old Navy and the cardigan is from Target. LOVE mustard yellow! I wore this a lot when I was pregnant because of the room around the tummy area. Can't forget to add a huge chunky necklace!
I was inspired by Pinterest on this outfit. Never would I have put these two pieces together years back. I found this skirt at Forever 21 last year and loved it BUT you have to wear heels with this one since it's so flowy (that's probably not the correct word but it works for me!)....kicked these heels off by the middle of the day :)
And my all time favorite are these over-sized cardigans! I have 4 that I rotate and they also are pretty close to covering the bum. :) However, this one isn't as long as I would like so I make sure to wear an American Apparel 50/50 shirt---obsessed with these shirts for me AND Ty. :)

That's all my friends!

Lately

Wow!--- We have been having so much fun around here with these 3 babies! They are growing and growing and becoming such precious little people. Our youngest baby, Ty, has developed his personality and I am absolutely in love with him. I just don't think its possible to feel as much love for him as I do! He started eating rice-cereal and loves it. We are starting avocados tonight! We have been soaking in as much sun as we can by riding scooters outside, spending the day at Nanny and Poppees on the weekends,  having picnics and just sitting in the front yard and enjoying each other.

Maddyn is still our sweet and loving little girl. She is soooo mature for her age! I can't get over how far her little brain thinks ahead. She is so quirky too... It's hilarious! She has been fully potty-trained forever now and pretty much did it on her own...seriously...I almost feel like I chose her as the child to have close in age to Ty. :) We have been paci-free for a long time too...I chose this for her, she would still have one if it were up to her. Maddyn has also turned into a shy little thing. Complete opposite from Camdyn. We are working on that :)

This guy will have his very own post in a bit. :) My how he is growing!

Camdyn has also bloomed so much from being in school and just getting older. She has learned a ton and how to cooperate with others---things that are socially acceptable and not. She loves to read and has gotten so good at it. Her writing has also improved so much! I love how she is applying all of the little "rules" she has learned in spelling out words while she is writing. She is such a hard worker and I love that about her. She LOVES school and I hope she always continues to.
She has become a heck of a bracelet maker! :) She can whip one right up for you. Love that girl!!

Sister has been waiting since September (when the first group of kids got one!) for her birthday book club book. This is a great program our school does where the kids are able to purchase a new book around their birthday month, put their picture of them in the book, dedicate it to someone (or in her case, a whole group of people!) and then they get called up on stage during our Friday pep-rally. She was so proud...Maddy came to see her get it too!
