Live, LAUGH, Love

Nothing makes me more happier than hearing my child laugh. That has to be one of the best noises and one of the most precious faces to see. I was so happy to capture some shots of Camdyn laughing at her daddy "getting her". I have been pretty adamant about blogging lately for the fact that I can't let any of these pictures be stuck in my camera...I have to get them out for family and friends to see! I could stare at these pictures of her forever. (I turned them right side up so you could see them better.)

Okay, in this one I had no idea but baby girl has a molar in the back of her mouth!!!

I would be laughing too if some guy had his mouth under my armpit too!!! We love you Dustin!!!

Today we went and swam with Sherry and the boys. Lets just say that Camdyn has missed them. When I was getting ready to leave to go home with her, she was in Sherry's arms and she smiled and waved goodbye to.....ME!!! Not, Sherry but to me! (tear...) Just kidding!

Tomorrow is play-date time! I have been cooking all day during nap times but I DO enjoy throwing parties for all of the babes! Below, Camdyn is showing you how excited she is to see all of her friends!!!!!

This morning Cam was quiet and I came into her room and this was what missy was up to... Just enjoying her morning, reading a book. Thank goodness it was not a repeat from yesterday. Yesterday it was really quiet and I came into the kitchen and she was by the trash licking a bowl of chocolate pudding that was in the trashcan and it was all over her face. She just looked at me and grinned!
I now leave you with some "photography skills" from Daddy Dustin. Camdyn and I are really roughing it while taking these pictures but they turned out so sweet to me. I LOVE this little girl so much!

Lounging around

I am not a big fan of the rain but we do enjoy it because that means that we don't have to water our flowers! Today has been a lay low type of day. That will be good for us since we have a very busy week! I still managed to get out of the house and get some fun things for our "Watermelon" play date party we are having on Wednesday...11 kids at our house!!! This will be a big one but we are very excited! Tomorrow we are visiting Mrs. Sherry and the boys, Friday is the Ranger game in the suites! and then 4th of July begins!

I got some really cute pictures of Camdyn hanging out around the house and just being herself. We all happened to make it in these pictures!

Very good "toe-touch" Cam...even nicely pointed toes!

Fish face

Now, I posted this only so you could see that Daddy was there when Camdyn ate lunch today...this should be fun getting the blackberries out of her dress!

I caught these 2 love birds having a conversation!!

Camdyn was telling Bozley that it was okay that he was about to go and get 2 shots at the vet :(

She even added a sweet hug in there

Following Daddy and Boz to the vet

Playing in her tent tunnel

When I got home, Sister got in my lap to watch some of her movie. Dustin kept laughing saying how she looked like a big bullfrog laying in my lap. Dustin took about 6 pictures of her and this is how EVERY picture turned out!

Definitely "Bullfrogish" here!

The Love Dare

Dustin and I recently made a trip to one of my favorite places ...Barnes and Noble. I have never been a big reader except when I was little and would read every Judy Blume book ever created (love that Ramona Quinby!! ha!) but as I got older, I love reading Christian books. I feel like they help me to settle back into one of my main purposes in life instead of getting caught up in all of the other day to day hassles and routines. They always put everything into perspective and why we are here on earth. Since Dustin and I have been married, Dustin has remained my Christian rock. He always helps me to be a better person. When we were looking at books, he came and brought me a book that he said we were going to start called The Love Dare By Stephen and Alex Kendrick. As I always usually do with him, I went along with it knowing that it would be beneficial.

This is a 40 day journey about love. It's about learning and daring to live a life filled with loving relationships and the journey begins with the person who is closer to you; your spouse. It's a journey of exploring and demonstrating genuine love. All it is is taking a little bit of time out of your day (we read it before we go to bed) reading it and then it gives you a dare to do the next day. For example; one day we were reading about how love is kind. The dare for that day was to do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness. This is such simple reading and it's amazing how much it really helps you to re-evaluate your relationship and the words/actions that you express with one another. Having children we always seem to put them first but we need to also be working on building and maintaining a strong relationship with our spouse and God. I promise you, this book will be well worth the 14.99 that you spend!!! We are on day 10 of our book so if you would like to borrow it from us when we are finished, I will GLADLY send it your way. I felt led to tell you about our book and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Now, onto some pictures from last night! Can't make a post without her in it! We went to Olive Garden to eat and then we ran to Fire Wheel to get a Bubble tea. I have been craving this since the night my sisters and I went. Fun night! Also, this little girl below slept until 9:00 this morning...WOW!

Blowing her pin wheel...she does this all throughout the day!

Look at that smile!!

Bubble bath time!

Lately I have seen commercials of the new Johnson's bubble bath!!

What can be more fun than to have a bubble bath especially when you are 1!!! I decided to get her this bubble bath knowing that it will be gentle. It is sometimes a battle to get that hair washed and when I used this that day on Camdyn, she did not even pout once when I washed her hair! Looks like we will be using the bubbles from now on when it's hair washing time. It was so much fun to see how she reacted to the bubbles. She kept trying to lick them off of her hand until I think she realized that they weren't too tasty. I love this baby girl!!! I cannot describe how much fun we are having with her this Summer. She amazes us every day.

How do they taste Camdyn?

This is the face that she makes when we tell her to blow. When she holds her pin wheel, that is immediately what she will do. I told her to blow her bubbles and this was the sweet face that she makes with a bit of air coming out.

Well I also attempted to make another dress for Camdyn. I pretty much just looked at another dress that she had and copied it. It turned out pretty cute especially on her!!! She looks like a little Hawaiian girl! By the way, she just turned 14 months in these pictures!
Look how the front of her hair is lightening up and she already has tan lines in the creases of her arms and that is with sunscreen on EVERY time we go to swim!

Tonight is family night and tomorrow we will be celebrating Camdyn's cousin Haley's birthday! Camdyn loves those girls and we are looking forward to it!

Mini Vaca

This past Friday morning, we left to head to Round Rock (outside of Austin) to watch Dustin's pitcher (that has now signed to play with A & M...Dustin is loving this! ) in an All-star game. We decided to make a little vacation out of it since we were going to be driving a little over 3 hours away. This was the furthest we had ever driven with Camdyn and she did super! She slept some of the time and watched her Baby Einstein DVD the rest of the way. This was the best purchase we could have made! You can even set it up anywhere and Cam would watch it in the mornings while we got dressed. She couldn't have been any better. One of our highlights of the trip was dinner at the Oasis on Lake Travis in Austin. This was by far the prettiest restaurant we have ever eaten at. The guy taking us up to there said that it seats 3000 people!! No, I didn't add an extra 0 :), 3,000 people! Here are some views from where we were sitting.

This is a house. Dustin is going to buy me this house when....we hit the lottery!

Everyone outside will clap when the sun starts going down...it is beautiful. I got a picture of Camdyn and her daddy watching it go down.

If you're wondering how many teeth Camdyn has now...here is a clear image of how many! Hilarious!

Sunday, we headed to the game and it was great. I was a little nervous that it would be too hot for chunky monkey but it was fine where we were sitting. Jake did great at the game too! He hit a triple for their team and ended up pretty much winning the game for his team. Dustin was proud of him! Dustin had the camera and took tons of pictures like this....
and then of this!!!
A child of many faces :)
We will be heading back to Lake Travis in 2 weeks for our real family vacation with Dustin's Family. I can't wait to actually stay up in the hills!!!
