Forever long Thanksgiving break post!

Well friends, I'm going out of order here but I feel so far behind that the other 2 postings can wait (Camdyn you won't care will ya?!)
We have had one great week that's for sure! It has zoomed passed us-as every break does and I'm sure part of that is because we are all home together and it is always such a blast.
Let's start with Thanksgiving!

This year we decided to have Thanksgiving at our house. We had such a great time visiting with everyone and these two girls thoroughly enjoyed each other's company the whole day!

This picture is of me trying to get a picture of Camdyn all dressed up for Thanksgiving. She kept slumping her shoulders and making this face....silly girl!

What a great Thanksgiving with many many blessings!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now for the week we have had...
Here are some things that I got accomplished this week!
*Organized my closet...(well mainly put all of my vests together and I sure did not know that I was that big of a vest lover!), Cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more!,*Did about a hundred crafts...some with Camdyn but most of them were done while she was sleeping. I will have to share some of those with you soon :), *Got every bit of our Christmas decorations done! Here is one of our mantle-minus the cute sleigh I added last night
*I did some shopping :) :), well probably a little too much, *Filled Camdyn's advent calendar up AND got really organized and created a calendar so Dustin and I could view our family activities for that day! (More coming on this), *Got a lot of my Christmas shopping done on-line! Best thing ever...cuter stuff and much less hassle trying to find these items in stores, *Cooked a lot and used yeast for the first time!, * And also had food cooked for me quiet a bit ;), *Went on a super date with my husband, *Got my early Christmas present...an i-phone! oh man, this thing is neat!, *And the most important thing of all...spent a TON of time with Camdyn and my wonderful husband. Thank you lord for giving me these two people!! :)
Here are some humorous and cute pictures throughout our week.
Let me explain these mixed emotions here on this sweet colorful little girls face. In the top left corner you see pure glee on her face and then the face goes downhill...all because of this guy
Yep, the guy in the red suit (by the way, I know Dustin looks like he is pinching Santa's bum). There has been a ton of talk around the house about Jesus' birthday arriving in less than a month and what wonderful gifts that Camdyn wants from Santa. She knows that Santa will only be bringing a few special gifts and the sweet girl talks about how excited she is for him to come and see her.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon shopping a bit around the town and we picked out our one yearly Christmas ornament. Here are the past years in which I love to look back on. The fun part about this ornament hunt is to see what Dustin picks out...and with all honesty he seriously picks out the most festive (I guess you could call it that...maybe hideous??!) ornaments around. Oh how lucky Camdyn is to have Dustin as her daddy! :) Here is mine...
Not sure if it's really "Christmasy" but I love the gold and light blue. Here is Camdyn's...(*Camdyn, you love nutcrackers now because of your new Elmo Christmas Countdown movie that Daddy got you!) And here is Dustin's...
I know, I know, I tried to talk him out of paying 5 dollars for this and he insisted. Wait...let me add that it lights up. :)
We also picked out some pretty ornaments for Cam's new Christmas tree in her playroom-
And decorated it this morning.
I absolutely love Christmas time and I can't wait to get this little girl in these precious reindeer pj's!
Have I mentioned to you how this playroom has been the best thing that I could have added to our house?! I am in love with it and my Cam plays in it all the time. It's great having a special place for her that she can find all of her "prized possessions" :) and we don't have to worry about her making too many messes!
She is also such a big help in cleaning it up at the end of the night. She even knows where to put each of her items since we have her baskets labeled!
We got Camdyn a special battery operated toothbrush since Dustin and I use them and it had stickers for her to decorate it. I had her tell me what stickers she wanted on it.
Here's the front...
And the back!
This made me laugh as I was putting these on here. She requested Macey and Tanner's name be put on it.
I haven't actually sat down and blogged much about Camdyn and all of the memories that I don't want to ever forget about her 2 year old little personality. I hope to get some of these jotted down soon so they do not ever leave my mind! I also have a picture I am saving until I do this next posting so that I MAKE myself spend the time to talk just about her caring little soul!
Time to get off and get a few more things done before she awakens! :)
Halloween night
Well I have exactly 9 free days ahead of me with no obligations except to spend time with my family and friends and reflect on everything I am thankful for (AND, I need to do some deep cleaning, organizing, crafting, baking and Christmas shopping, etc) but hey...all of those are just leisure activities I would say! I HAVE to get caught up on my blogging so now is the time. As I type this I have my little pink monitor right beside me watching my love nap peacefully and my coffee on the other side filled with Pumpkin Spice creamer (wonderful!). Let me add that I would have no idea what to do without this monitor! It is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. I joke that this hand-held monitor might still be viewing my Camdyn when she is a teenager in her room!
Let's start blogging on Halloween! I still need to add postings from the Arboretum and Dustin's surprise party...(I think I can, I think I can!)
Pretty much our entire family came over for Halloween and we went Trick-or-Treating around our neighborhood. I must add that Camdyn was livin' it up! I think this might be her favorite holiday! :) I was a bit worried that she might try to eat every piece of candy that she got from her neighbors but she was almost on a mission just to get a piece and put it into her bucket! She never even once asked me if she could have a piece and finally I felt sorry for her and told her to eat a piece and she was excited about this.
Tanner was super excited for his first Halloween! :)
These 3 ran around up and down to every house the entire time! Not much use out of the wagon this year!
We got to see our look-alike Bozley's down our street! I seriously think that they are both Bozely's long lost brothers.
Wish I knew what she was asking me here!
Up next-The Arboretum!
*I have used Shutterfly for certain projects around the house-some as simple as getting pictures developed all the way up to a special first Father's day gift for Dustin! You are even able to view past projects and they are easily accessible with the click of a button. Here is a poster that I made for Dustin for his first Father's day...I loved it! Annual Halloween Bash! Take 3!
We had another successful Halloween party with all of the sweet toddlers this year at our house. It was the best party yet that we have had at our house! The kids (including myself) had such a great time and all of the mommies went above and beyond on some great cooking! From crafts to Camdyn screaming "Dance party" and the kids dancing...we had a great time with many more memories made. I can't wait for Amanda to host the Christmas one! (wink, wink Amanda!)
Here's how it all went down :)
A bit of the decor-minus all of the other wonderful treats!
Our bun bun waiting on her guests to arrive! (check out the tail in the back!)
Craft time in the playroom
Rachel decided to join in on the crafts! ;)
Really...look how precious they all are!
Camdyn wanted so badly for little Miss Emerson to dance with her!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Camdyn also had a lot of great activities throughout the week!
She had her Halloween party at school and got to wear her bunny costume again-man we got a lot of use out of this cute thing!
All bright eyed and ready for school! She told me what every single kid in her class dressed up as. So funny
We also handed these out to all of her friends!
Mrs. Tracy took the girls to the pumpkin patch as well and they had a great time.
Love this natural/happy smile
And these are on here just because they make me laugh. The girls picked a pumpkin from the grass and obviously the pumpkin was slimy from the morning dew-check out the faces of disgust! ha!
She looks as if she is enduring the nastiest thing around! Yep, she is my child that's for sure!
Fabulous weekend coming up that I will be sharing soon! Be looking forward to Halloween night and a day at the Arboretum! Night night!
