Christmas is over = Time to organize!

Christmas time is over :( and we are now moving into a new year and as a result we have a CAMDYNLAND surrounding our house and I have been determined to find a nice, cheap way to store all of her "pretties". We are very blessed with such a great family who loves to buy presents for Camdyn and now we need to find somewhere to put them all to take care of them. I have searched on the internet for an inexpensive but nice thing to keep them in and I have not had much luck. It doesn't help that I am a bargain shopper and I refuse to spend a lot of money on something unless I will get a ton of use out of it! I'm also not into toy boxes mainly for the fact that I would not want the toys at the bottom to get forgotten about. So...I got the idea from looking on-line about getting cubes and fabric cubes and keeping her toys in that! We went to Target tonight and got these for our bedroom/play room!

They don't take up any space and they are super sturdy! I love them. Each piece cost 10 bucks which I thought was a steal.

Now we do still have these around our house but you can actually see now what is at the bottom of them. :) I seriously can't believe how many toys she has. We have about 5 from Christmas put up to bring out throughout the weeks so they don't go unnoticed. All of these toys and my artsy little girl would rather walk around with a crayon in each hand and color at her table. LOVE HER!
Here are a few sweet pictures of our little girl....

Around 10 months I would ask her where Jesus was and she would point to the sky...she still has not forgotten :) and is looking up at him.
What a sparkle/shine she is!

Giving momma some love

I now leave you with my most favorite Holiday commercial that I watch, rewind and watch again. I want everyone of these little girls to come visit me...I think I see a little Camdyn and Macey in there when they are older :)

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We have had once another great Christmas that we have been blessed to experience with our family and sweet Camdyn. We got great pictures for Camdyn to look back on for memories of of her 2nd Christmas. I also am proud of all of the "family" pictures that we took!

Camdyn! Look at all of the cookies that Santa ate that we had made for him! He also left you a special note!

After you woke up (10:15! sleepy head!) we wished Jesus a happy birthday and headed to the living room to see some of the great gifts that Santa had brought you!

You were very excited to see a rocking horse sitting in front of you!

You also tried on your new fancy shoes!

When you were finished exploring your new gifts you then were ready to make Jesus a card for his birthday!

I can't wait to see each year how you (and your sisters or brothers) decide how you are going to celebrate his birthday!

We then got dressed up and headed to Nanna and Poppy's for Christmas with the whole fam.
Sassy pants!

Just the "big girls!"
The Collard Family!!

The Toth family! Camdyn was exited to take this picture :)

Mommy and Daddy!

Pretty Aunt Tay Tay and mommy

I also had a fabulous Christmas myself! We all got many great gifts with a lot of thought put into them. There is one special gift that Dustin gave to me that I had to share. He is such a clever thing! We always say that we are not going to get each other something but we always manage to. :) He had my gifts numbered in order. He then gave me this book that he had made. Yes he made it! Each page had a hint to what each gift was and there was a message from Camdyn on each page and a picture. It was the cutest thing! I am only sharing the first page because I'm sure he would like to keep some of our life private! :) I am using one of my gifts tomorrow that he scheduled for me and that is a hot rock mani/pedi that I am VERY excited about.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! For all of my teacher friends...we still have another week left!!!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas EVE!

Wow! We had an unexpected WHITE and SNOWY Christmas Eve! God is always up to surprises right?! Our plans of driving to Ennis had to change due to the bad weather. So instead, Dustin went to the store and made us a Christmas Eve dinner at home (Chicken fried chicken, baked potatoes, green beans and macaroni) and then we went and spent the rest of the night at my parents and had dessert with the Butler's. All in all we still had a great Christmas Eve!!
After Cam woke up from her nap we decorated cookies for sweet Santa!
Camdyn had to wear her beautiful new bracelets while decorating :)

and gave Bozley some Christmas love

We still got the girls decked out in their Christmas attire to take a few pictures...

Sitting in her new chairs and table that she LOVES!!

Mace and Cam, 2009!

Look how much they have changed in one year!
After a long and fun night, we came home and played in the snow for a bit!

and then we were off to bed while we left some cookies for Santa to enjoy when he came to visit! Tomorrow we would soon awake to Santa's visit and the most important celebration...the birth of Jesus!

Christmas Day post coming soon!

Gaylord and ICE Christmas Eve Eve

We went to Gaylord and to see ICE

and we had a blast! We now have a new family tradition to go see the both on the Eve before Christmas Eve! :) The whole atmosphere is always so pretty and everything is so clean and well kept. They definitely go all out on the decor. Our room happened to be right above the gingerbread house and a huge blue lighting piece!

Dustin and I were very excited about seeing ICE again mainly because we had a little girl to share this with this year and the theme was the Grinch! (For any of you who have not been, this is an attraction where everything is made out of ice!) We knew that it would be cold in there so we bundled Camdyn up. I thought she might not like being bundled up to where she almost could not move but she did not mind as long as she could peep her little eyes out and look around.

Before going into ICE...

After!!

As always they have the nativity scene made out of ice and this is beautiful!
This was one of my favorites (a bit hard to see in the picture) but it's all of the Who's eating cake and treats!

LOVE this!

Our little Eskimo!

Dustin kept telling me to make sure she didn't lick the ice or her tongue would get stuck. Secretly I thought this was funny that he was worried about this...I guess he was right though...that wouldn't be good!

It was snowing when you walked in!

After we were finished we changed and went to eat dinner and then let Camdyn walk around (actually she ran around and danced for EVERYONE). We didn't get a lot of "posed" pictures because she was in the mood to have some fun!

Showing her dancing skills

We were about to take a picture and sweet girl offered her mommy some of her ice-cream!

So pretty...

I turned around and saw this...always will be a daddy's girl!
and now for the most interesting picture of our child....
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!
