Oh how this weekend was fabulous! I felt like we were able to enjoy our little family while being productive as well...don't you just love weekends when you have nothing to do or commitments to make?!
I think we are going to have more Saturdays where we just stay at home at night instead of fighting crowds and little hands trying to eat off of our plates the whole time! ha! We decided to stay home and cook out and my most favorite thing, S'MORES!! I have been craving these for a very long time now...months! Unfortunately we did not get to make these over a campfire :) but instead we made them "Toth style" over our grill!
(Daddy being the big brave one to try it first!...notice those grubby hands trying to turn up the temp!)
This was actually a suggestion on the graham cracker box! They were heaven and Camdyn agreed. She got her first taste of real chocolate and highly enjoyed every bit that I would allow her little mouth to devour!
We have tons of chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows left and that only means one thing...more s'mores for us!
*Her "Bobby" (yes that is his new name that she calls him) is waiting for his bite. He follows her around the house when she has food and he takes it from her hands all the time!
Sunday we went to church and Camdyn had an unusual time in the nursery! When we came to get her after church she had nothing but her onesie, (no tutu, no pants, no bow and no shoes) and she looked like a little bum! Not only that but she ran from us when we came to get her! She must have had a wonderful time in the nursery and we were so happy for her.
She then proceeded to run to the play ground and this little girl is fearless. She runs up the steps and slides as fast as her body will let her go down the slide. Fun little thing! We also heard a great message at church about the 5 blessings that need to take part within your family first and then work their way out into the friends and the community. They gave us a gold coin with the blessings engraved on them and a sweet scripture...love our church!
Last is the final part of this posting titled Joy!
