A little get-away

On Wednesday we headed out for our little family trip! We had the best time! We could not have asked for a better 10 month old companion that Dustin and I had with us. She ate every bit of the trip up and enjoyed every waking minute of it! Us having this little get-away, leaves us excited for our Summer vacation.

Here is a brief description of what we did :) We woke up and started out a little later than we anticipated because of the carpet cleaners, however, we left our house around 11:00. We then stopped in South Lake (this place has some amazing shopping!) and shopped at a precious store for Camdyn's upcoming birthday bash. Then we headed to the Gaylord. We checked out the pool and Camdyn approved of it so we went down to get our bathing suits on. We stayed at the pool for a little over an hour and missy got her a tan! She is so lucky to have gotten her daddy's bronzed skin instead of mine :) This was her first time as a "walker" at a pool and she walked around the whole time touching peoples toes that were laying out (gross I know!) and smiling at everyone she passed. We held her under all of the water falls and she would gasp every time the wind would blow the water on her. It was much too cold for us to get in so we walked, drank our water and enjoyed a banana by the pool. When we were finished sister went down for a nap and then we headed out for some shopping at Grape Vine Mills and dinner at this fun Seafood place. By the time we got back to our hotel it was 9:30 and baby girl was still in a great mood! We put her down for a good nights rest while Dustin snuck out and got some ice-cream and coffee for him and I and we finished up our night out on the balcony. She loved our little family trip and her most favorite part was walking on the balcony and staring at our atrium view. The next morning we woke up and ate on the river walk cafe (this is wonderful and it has everything imaginable to eat on it). This was such a relaxing trip and it makes us look so forward to Summer!

I have a new update on our sweet Camdyn! She is now saying Hi, smiling while she says it and a waving...all 3 at the same time! We were sitting out on the swing the other day and she did it to me about 6 times. It was the sweetest thing ever. She even changes her voice when she does it. Now, whenever I want her to do it, she usually won't but whenever she sees someone, herself in a mirror, or her doll she will usually do it. I'm sure it will become more frequent soon though. Tomorrow is Sunday and that means back to reality!!
