Lately...



Maddyn Chayse is our baby that has slept through the night forever

but occasionally wakes up sometimes with bad dreams---bad dreams to the point

that she won't go back to sleep. She is not one of those children that

you can leave in her room and she will fall back to sleep shortly...so, when this happens

I gather her little body up and tuck her between Dustin and I and she doesn't

make a move. This doesn't happen too often but when it does, no biggy.

This particular day Camdyn climbed in there with Maddy and they

both fell asleep together. While I was getting dressed Camdyn told Maddyn "Maddy, lay down

baby girl and go to sleep"---Maddyn did just as she was told :) and fell asleep.

Love their relationship! 

  Which now leads us to our new bed :) We decided to get a king bed to hold all of our ducklings when they have a bad dream or just need a little extra TLC. New bed means you need a new comforter! I love our new bedding! It's so fancy and pretty. We managed to keep a white comforter for 2 years and not once did one of the children spill or get it dirty...now Bozley---he was the only one who made it a little discolored from his dirty little fur.

We had a parent dedication at church Mother's Day weekend.

Our angel was a doll up there on stage and I'm so proud to be

her momma. I can't wait to raise her to love God and to always

turn to him during good times or during a time of need.

 

Dustin took our stinky dog (as Camdyn calls him) to get groomed and the groomer

cut his ears as short as they could possibly get cut! Maddyn was obsessed with

his ears for 2 full days and would run around touching his ears while smiling

and saying "Bozey." ---cutest thing

 

Dustin and I went on a date the other night! It had been a few weeks

and we were due for some alone time at dinner. Love our time together

 

Maddyn loves her baby doll now. She carries it everywhere and makes

sure it is nearby. I had to rock her and the baby doll to sleep the other night.

It felt as if I had 2 babies at one time when I would look down :) 

We are on the verge of Summer! We swung by and picked up Macey

and I took the girls to the spray park. We made it there once every week

last summer and we can't wait to make this apart of our week this summer!

Maddyn LOVED it and ran around like a wild woman towards the end.

Camdyn had field day yesterday and I'm not sure if she was more excited about field day or her braids! That girl loves her some braids and she even commented "I can't believe I'm not wearing a bow or a headband today."---yep, that's my girl.
